This is a combination list put together from recommendations by people who review both formal testing and actual shootings.  This list will change over time, but not quickly.  It is not the be-all and end-all of such list--there's a couple of what seem good performers to me that aren't on it.  I believe, though, that I can rely on this one for good ammunition choices, and I believe you can as well.
